How to Crochet a Cowl

Glowing Seas Cowl

I designed this pattern a while back, but never got the time to get actually write it out. So, I’ve just been hanging on to it with the intention of posting it later in the year. But, a few weeks ago, I decided I wanted to go a head and post it. Half the year is over already and before you know, it will be Fall. This cowl is warm enough for those breezy fall days, but light enough that you don’t feel like your baking in an oven.

I am excited to say, I am participating in the Fall Wearable Blog Hop, hosted by desamourdesigns.com. Everyday a new designer gives away a pdf copy of a particular pattern. On October 10th, you will be able to obtain a free pdf copy of this pattern. First click the link and you will be taken to the blog post to get the coupon code. Don’t forget to go back each day to see what new pattern is being given away. Then, come back and click on the Ravelry link to get the pattern.

The yarn I used for this pattern came from my Knitcrate subscription, which was Knitologie Glowing. It was a pretty blue made from wool and silk, and it was so soft I could wait to work with it. And, this Cowl worked up quickly and only used one skein.
