How To Crochet A Headband

Infinity Headband Crochet Pattern

I love self-striping yarns, although I rarely end up using them. I have so many skeins of them, it’s ridiculous.I continue to buy them, even though most of them sit in a box untouched. When I was at Walmart a few months ago, I found Lion Brands Ferris Wheel, so naturally I had to buy some. I really do love the self-striping effect of Ferris Wheel, as the color changes aren’t harsh, and are more subtle than most.

Faux cabled headband

Honestly , it took me a while to decide what I wanted to make with it. When a friend asked me to make them a headband, I knew this yarn would be perfect. And the Infinity Headband is the result. I love the texture the stitch pattern gives and I love how the striping turned out.

The pattern isn’t really difficult. It only uses single crochet and half double crochet stitches. The single foundation crochet row and construction may be the only thing a beginner may have trouble with.
